Documents & E-Signature

DocuSign + ATALI ELECTRIC

Send engagement letters, agent authorization forms and evidence approvals for signature through your DocuSign account, and file the completed documents to the parcel.

How it works

Appeals depend on signatures: a contingency engagement letter, an owner's authorization for an agent to act on the account (in Texas, Comptroller Form 50-162, the Appointment of Agent for Property Tax Matters), and the client's sign-off on the evidence before it is filed. ATALI ELECTRIC connects to your DocuSign account through the DocuSign eSignature REST API, so these documents go out from your own account with your branding and your sending limits.

A user authorizes the connection with DocuSign's OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code Grant. ATALI ELECTRIC then creates envelopes from documents generated for the parcel, fills recipient names from the client record, and receives envelope status updates through DocuSign Connect. When an envelope is completed, the signed PDF and certificate of completion are stored with the parcel and the appeal record moves forward. ATALI ELECTRIC holds no DocuSign partnership; the integration uses DocuSign's public API under your account.
